The Coffer Group, the leisure property industrys fully-integrated agency and corporate advisory business, has appointed four new joiners across a variety of business divisions.
Davis Coffer Lyons, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, has appointed David Smart to its Pubs and Bars team. David brings with him many years experience in the sale of licensed premises, having first started in the industry in 1987. David will handle sales and acquisitions of both freehold and leasehold pubs and bars in the south east, acting for individual and multiple operators as well as many of the major pub companies and brewers.
To its Agency team, DCL has appointed Jessica Parkinson, who joins the firm from Dowley Turner Real Estate, where she was a Senior Surveyor within the office and industrial property sectors. Prior to this, Jessica worked at CBRE within its Retail and Business Space teams. In 2009, Jessica was the youngest agent in the UK to reach chartered status. Jessicas role at DCL will predominately to assist the team on A3 restaurant property disposals.
To its Acquisitions team, DCL has appointed Jake Bernstone, who has taken a graduate position, assisting the team on acquisitions on behalf of restaurant operator clients, as well as investment opportunities, reporting to Director Brandon Elmon. Jake graduated from Nottingham University in 2011 with a 2:1 degree in Economics.
Coffer Corporate Leisure, the property industrys only dedicated corporate and M&A adviser, has appointed Jack Silvani as an Analyst, to assist the team with financial modelling and research for sales mandates across the leisure and hospitality sectors. Jack is a mathematics graduate from the University of Exeter, with previous experience as an Analyst in the European healthcare sector, specialising in statistical modelling.
David Coffer, Chairman of the Coffer Group, said, The new appointments are to support our ambitious expansion plans which involve our growing presence in leisure consultancy overseas, and the increasing appetite for leisure property from many landlords to drive customers to schemes. We have witnessed the highest volumes of investment in commercial leisure property since 2007, from landlords who are attracted by long leases and the higher-than-average yields achievable.
