Coffer Corporate Leisure acted on behalf of Ten Entertainment Group Plc in their latest acquisition of a new family entertainment and bowling centre in the Kingdom Shopping Centre, Glenrothes. 

The transaction incorporated the acquisition of the former ‘Pro Bowl’ branded business comprising a 10-lane ten pin bowling operation. 

TEG Plc are one of the UK’s leading bowling and entertainment providers, operating 51 ‘Tenpin’ branded family entertainment centres throughout the UK. 

Following the acquisition, Tenpin are undertaking an extensive refurbishment of the Glenrothes centre which will re-open under the Tenpin brand on 9th December following a significant transformation. Tenpin Glenrothes will boast 10 bowling lanes, a laser tag arena, two karaoke rooms and an amusement arcade, alongside a fully licensed bar.

The Glenrothes acquisition follows a number of other recent bowling centres which we have acquired for Tenpin. These include a 40,000 sq ft former Argos store in central Sheffield, which is also due to open in December 2023; a 25,000 sq ft former bowling unit in Phoenix Leisure Park, Crewe which opened in February; a 22,000 sq ft former Staples retail store in central Milton Keynes which opened in July; and a 40,000 sq ft former Toys r Us unit on Kingsway West Retail Park in Dundee which opened in August.
