New Malden Golf Centre Acquires World of Golf

New Malden Golf Centre Limited led by private investors, has completed the freehold acquisition of World of Golf New Malden Surrey through specialist leisure investment advisors Coffer Corporate Leisure.

World of Golf, located in New Malden, Surrey, is a freehold business comprising over 9 acres overlooking the A3 dual carriageway close to Kingston in Surrey. The purchase price was undisclosed from a guide price of £9 million.

Mark Sheehan, Managing Director at Coffer Corporate Leisure, said: “World of Golf New Malden is a well-established, popular and profitable leisure business with high quality facilities and family entertainment opportunities. What attracted the investors to the site was the excellent location and potential for further leisure-based development in areas of the site which are currently under utilised. ”

World of Golf includes a premier two-tier, 60-bay driving range, Jurassic Encounter Adventure Golf, an 18-hole family course, and a 550 sq m golf shop operated by American Golf, consistently one of the UK’s top four performing stores, and a licensed Costa Coffee franchise. The centre also includes a golf training academy and an interactive video coaching studio where golfers can work with the instructors to analyse and improve their game.

World of Golf will continue to be run with its existing management under which the business provides a good mix of income streams from both operations and rental income.
